But only if it looks this cool -- the old, wooden desk with the sleek, metal/vinyl old-school apendage of a recumbant bicycle - seat - simulator - gym-ish - contraption. But where's the tower? I wonder if she's secretely liftin' weights with it over there.

I had the occasion to use at BNM's Research Library. While it magically makes you sit up straight (really, you seriously don't want to do anything in this chair but keep an upright posture), if used for long periods of time it is absolutely killer on the knees. Yowza!! I want to see this puppy reinforced with velveteen super gelatinous gooey pads before I'd use it long-term. But leave it to those Canadians to explain the whole thing.

I find the picture interesting but unless *all* one wants to do is type (no consulting books, no scanning documents, no input except a keyboard), that desk is a dream straight outta the 80s. I think that "desk" would be teh Aw3s0/\/\E is if it were mounted on two wheels and her feet were on pedals. Know what I'm sayin'?
. . . Totally. With like a flat screen monitor mounted above a flat platform for the keyboard on the "handlebars". Oh, snap. But, yeah, it *is* a "dream straight outta the 80s", which might kinda be why it struck me so silly.
