Simpson: ‘If I Did It, Here’s How It Happened’

From the article on cnn.com,
"O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes... Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade."
You have got to be kidding me. This interview will be shown days before the November 30th release of his new book, If I Did It. Why would anyone publish a hypothetical admission of guilt to committing murder? We certainly all play devil's advocate from time to time, but that kind of exposition is a bit removed. It's hard to imagine why Simpson would actively pursue a public forum for that kind of discussion given the fact that there happens to be, you know, overwhelming evidence pointing to his guilt. Is this do-it-yourself psychotherapy? A cowardly apology? A publicity stunt -- Simpson's low on cash?? ("D", All of the above?) And, if nothing else, why would any loving father be willing to drag his children through that again? Amazing.
