How does the brain connect with the body?

I have been a little out of the Mac-loop of late. I was just tipped-off to the new iMac via an email I didn't even read until about 1am. Ooops! So I headed over to apple.com, looked 'er over, and watched the ad. While viewing, I couldn't help thinking, "I know that song." Then it hit me. I popped The Day I Turned To Glass into my compy, fired it up, and my hunch was right: Honeycut's "Exodus Honey" is the track playing along with the spinning iMacs. You can listen to "Exodus Honey" here. I admit the ad and even the track are not the most exciting things to look at or listen to, but I will say that Honeycut is one of *the funnest* bands I have ever seen live. That I saw them in the first place was a happy coincidence. April, Greg and I had gone to the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland as a matter of happenstance; we had actually shown up for the headlining act which sucked a big lemon. Honeycut entertained, dazzled, and rocked-out, however, and that keyboardist has one of the best pairs of hands I've seen on two feet in quite a while -- two happy, crazy dancy-legged feet. Cheers, Apple, for the Honeycut nod.

Holy crap! I can't believe you figured that out. Awesome. You know, I happened across that CD just last night & almost put it on while I was painting trim. I would not have put in my, ahem, "compy" though, but rather my little "boomy" that I keep upstairs. Heh. Can we just shorten all nouns to one syllable + y? I'm down.
