We could be heroes. Or something.

I just had the overwhelming urge to tell the world wide web that I'm obsessed with Heroes. I know, total soap opera, but I've watched about 6 episodes this weekend and I'm enjoying myself. I've only seen season two -- I'm wondering if it's even necessary to watch the first season -- but I'm completely hooked. I feel like now I understand why people went cooky over Lost. It reminds me of when I was in the eighth grade and Brian Brooks (wow, I can't believe I remember his name) told me that, with my new bobbed haircut, I looked like Terry Hatcher (as "Lois Lane" in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) and I simultaneously fell in love with him and Dean Cain's "Clark Kent". ::sigh:: No crushes for Heroes, sadly (though the cast as a whole is rather handsome), just solidly love the idea of people with super powers. I need to read X-Men. Other things I'm enjoying this holiday season (in no particular order):

Happy New Years Eve Eve.

I missed the first season too and got hooked a few weeks into season 2. It might not be necessary to watch season 1 to enjoy the show, but I think it provides a lot of back story. Plus, it's just so damn entertaining! The entire 1st season is on youtube.

The entire 1st season is on youtube.

Yessssssss.

My weakness, and it's my only one mind you, is Lost. The third season just came out on Netflix. (We don't have TV). We're pacing ourselves. It's hard, but I think we can do this.

Yeah, I don't have cable and watch all my "TV" on DVD. And I love it. I decided to add the first season of Heroes to my queue. I'm not sure I'll ever jump on the Lost bandwagon, but maybe. Maybe! :)

You'll probably start watching "Lost" around the same time I start watching "Arrested Development", then. Probably years from now when you forget that the combined insistence of every single person you know that the show is the best thing EVER was just irritating enough to keep you from watching it.

Maybe that's just me, though. I still haven't seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for that reason, after all.
