I am struck by how many people in my life I've talked to just like this. What an excellent sampling. (Comedically, I love the vulture and pigs, but I absolutely adore the bunnies.)

Though it started with a 1989 short film (which I had seen previously), and aired on Comedy Central, Creature Comforts the TV series was completely off my radar. Created by Nick Park, directed by Richard Goleszowski and produced by Aardman Animations (Park is the creator of Wallace & Gromit), the film was adapted for a British television series. Later came an American version, but only 3 episodes were aired on CBS before the show was cancelled for low ratings. The show was picked up by Animal Planet in April, so hopefully it will continue a much deserved run on cable.
